Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church was organized in 1856. It is one of the founding churches of the Weakley County Baptist Association. It’s physical address has moved several times from the founding of the church, but has remained at the same location since 1960 when a new building was built.
Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church has served as a place in the community of Dukedom to serve the Lord and been the source for many to find salvation through Jesus Christ. There has been many that passed through our door and they are members at other Baptist churches across the nation. Many still return for homecoming services on the 4th Sunday of June.
Today, Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church is active in many programs of the Weakley County Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We strive to serve the people in our local community with monthly activities for both adults and youth.
