Our summer mission trip this year is July 12-18. We will be traveling again to East Tennessee to participate in the rebuild efforts due to Hurricane Helene. The cost per person is $150.00. We will be staying at the Mt. Zion Baptist in Jonesborough, TN. Our team will be involved in construction and VBS.
The following are some special events occurring during June. June 1 is Disaster Relief Sunday. We hope to have a video available for that Sunday that explains DR. The SBC annual meeting is in Dallas on June 10-11. Father’s Day and the Tennessee Baptist Adult Home Offering is scheduled for June 15. June 22 is Mission Dignity Sunday. This is a ministry that helps financially support retired minsters and/or their wives.
I will be teaching our next Equipping the Saints Class beginning in August. This class will be a study of I John. We will meet on Mondays from 6:30 -8:00 p.m. We will begin on August 4 and go through September 22.
