          We had a productive Fall Conference on Saturday morning, October 18. This year’s conference was held at Bethlehem     Baptist Church in Greenfield. The good folks at Bethlehem prepared a delicious preconference breakfast at 7:30 and our meeting    began at 8:30. We had two very biblical and challenging sermons and participated in singing hymns together. Brother Derrell Cothran sang special music. We heard interesting reports from our SBC entities, as well as our TBMB and associational ministries. We appreciate our special guests who gave reports from their specific ministries. The morning was filled with testimonies and challenges in our pursuit of the Great Commission. Thank you, Bethlehem Baptist Church, for being such great hosts.

 

         A good resource for pastors is a ministry titled “Pastor Well.” Dr. Hershel York, Dean of the School of Theology at Southern Seminary and retired pastor of Buck Run Baptist Church in Frankfort, Kentucky, is the host. This is a video driven ministry that gives instruction and encouragement in pastoral work. Each video is brief but very helpful.
