As I am writing this article, we are preparing to travel to Oaxaca, Mexico. There are 16 volunteers from Weakley County getting ready to fly out of Memphis on Saturday, January 24 (weather permitting). We will be working alongside two SBC International Missionaries who have been in the area for several years. We will be evangelizing, doing light construction, teaching adult classes, and helping students with learning English. Your prayers are appreciated.
Our Equipping the Saints Class begins on Monday evening, January 26 and goes through March 9. This semester’s subject is “Evangelism” and will be taught by Jackie Vaughan from First Baptist Greenfield. The classes will begin at 6:00 p.m. and go through 7:30 p.m. They will be held at the mission center.
