WCBA: The WCBA Mission Center will be closed Friday, July 3rd, in observance of Independence Day. Our 2026 WCBA Summer Mission Trip will be July 11th-17th to Cleveland, TN. We covet your prayers for this trip! July is also when we emphasize our Great Commission Fund Offering. This fund provides support for local, national and international missions. We so appreciate your support and our goal this year is $20,000.
Bethel-Greenfield: Bethel will be hosting the WMU Quarterly Meeting (Christmas in August event) August 25th at 7:00 pm. Pastor: Mark Warren
Bible Union: Bible Union is hosting Christmas in July, a craft and vendor fair benefitting Operation Christmas Child, July 25th from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Pastor: Mark Dowdy
Dresden FBC: Our Lively Ones senior adult group will be attending Jackson Sings the Gospel on Thursday, July 9th, for a great time of southern gospel music. Our men’s monthly breakfast will be Saturday, July 11th, at 8:00 am. We are excited for our upcoming VBS Illumination Station July 12th-15th from 6:00-8:30 pm. A light meal will be served each night with Family Night on Wednesday night. Preregistration is encouraged to save time on opening night through our website dresdenfbc.org. We will have an ice cream social Sunday, July 19th, and a fish fry Sunday, July 26th. JOY will meet Tuesday, the 21st, at 11:30 am with guests Tommy & Karen Wilson. All senior adults are invited. Our kids will be going to Crossings Camp July 24th-27th in Hardin KY. The annual southern gospel singing will be Friday, July 31st, at 7:00 pm. Sew Faithful ministry will meet Friday & Saturday July 31st-August 1st from 9:00 am to noon each day. Pastor: Dr. Don McCulley
Gleason FBC: We are gearing up for VBS June 22nd-26th from 6:00-8:30 pm for ages Pre-K through 5th grade. We will also have adult classes. Freedom Fest ’26 will be Sunday night, July 5th, beginning at 7:00 pm with food, games, and fireworks. A Wednesday night study (same study on Thursday mornings) of the book of Revelation will begin soon. We are prayerfully seeking a student director for our youth, so send us your resume. Long Heights: We are ecstatic!! We have totally paid off our church building and land! Praise God! We’re planning a big celebration on August 23rd with a fish fry, previous ministers, charter members and anyone else that would like to come! We started VBS last night (June 14th) and are excited about this outreach ministry opportunity. Our Youth are headed to Strength to Stand Camp June 19th. July will be bustling with opportunities to serve: Trinidad Mission 7/9-17, Ocoee Mission to Cleveland, TN 7/11-17 and Kids Camp 7/28-31. The LORD is really blessing the Church–attendance is up, new members are being added, as well as baptisms.
