This year’s Annual Fall Conference is scheduled for October 17th and will be held at Bible Union Baptist Church. We will start the day with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., and then we will meet in the auditorium for our meeting at 8:30 a.m. We hope our meeting will be filled with worship and information about what Weakley County Baptists, Tennessee Baptists, and Southern Baptists are doing here at home and around the world. This year’s theme is “Persevering in Good Works” and comes from Galatians 6:9. Brother Kevin Crossno will give our theme interpretation, and Brother Brian Gallimore will preach the annual sermon.
Thank you for giving to the Great Commission Offering. This money goes to fund associational mission projects, both local and abroad. Thus far, we have collected $18,252.58!
As of this newsletter, we have had two sessions of our Sunday School Training Conference, with four more to go. We have had near capacity crowds for both sessions! It is encouraging to see such an important emphasis put on Sunday School in our churches!
