           The Golden Offering for Tennessee Baptist Missions will be received in September. The money collected through this offering is used to support mission work throughout our state. Our Golden Offering supports compassion ministries, disaster relief, new  churches, college campus ministries, adoption ministries, and association work. Our association receives 15% back from the total giving of our WCBA churches. WCBA uses this 15% for local projects amidst our associational church field.

           Our Fall Conference is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th. This year’s conference will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenfield. We will begin our morning with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., and the conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. This year’s theme is “Evangelism” and the text is from Matthew 9:36-38. We will hear reports from various associational ministries, as well as from state and national entities. We will also sing together, fellowship together, and hear solid preaching from the Word of God! I hope that you will attend.

           

             I want to recommend the book: “50 Days of Heaven” written by Randy Alcorn. The is a devotional type book that is enjoyable and very informative on the doctrine of Heaven.

              Thank you for giving to our Great Commission offering during the months of July and August. This money will be used for WCBA mission endeavors.
