The Week of Prayer for International Missions is November 30-December 7. The month of December is also the month we give to international missions through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. There are billions of people who live on the international mission fields who are lost in sin. A portion of our weekly church offerings go to the international mission field, but the entirety of our Lottie Moon Offering goes directly to the work of our missionaries on the field. I hope you will give generously.
Since this newsletter covers both December and January, let me remind you of some important things coming up in January. January Bible Study this year is entitled: “John: Knowing Jesus Through the I Am statements.” Sanctity of Human life is January 18. Our international mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico is January 24-31. The TBMB Bivocational Ministers & Wives Retreat is January 29-31 in Pigeon Forge, TN.
Susan and I, along with Jerry and Tera, wish to thank you for our Christmas bonuses and time off during the holidays. It is a joy to serve Weakley County Baptists.
